50s lamp base
« on: February 27, 2013, 04:43:49 PM »
Here is a lamp base made up of sections of clear bubbled glass and green frosted glass discs with a cut glass sconce and faux candle fitting. All on a brass rod. Not usually my thing but it was cheap and fun. I don't think you get the bulbs for that narrow fitting anymore, maybe candle bulbs.

Thanks

Adam

May sound crazy, but 99% certain this is from my side of the pond as I've seen these before. The "bubbled" glass we call Boopie made by  Anchor- Hocking for several decades & made in many forms including lamp parts. Lamp is probably a vanity lamp from the 50's.
