Studio paperweight ?
« on: February 28, 2013, 06:56:36 PM »
Hi, not having much luck with I/D of this paperweight, it has 2 flat, ground and polished sides and also has a flat polished base.
Inside the weight it looks like a spray coming down with a minute bubble attached to each stem reaching a small blue ground. 3 inches tall and 2.250 inches dia.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Malc

Hi.

My first thought is modern Chinese (as is my second...).

I have pretty much the same weight - though a bit taller (93 mm) - came with a card: "Twilight Cosmos" by Crystal Clear Collectables (Lesser & Pavey Ltd., Dartford, UK) - an importer of Chinese glass (to my knowledge).
