Early Whitefriars Mallet
« on: February 28, 2013, 08:21:37 PM »
I'm trying to discover whether this is actually an early Whitefriars piece.
It stands about 12 inches tall and is very heavy.
It was bought by a friend as Whitefriars but I said it didn't look like anything of theirs I'd ever seen.
Hope you can help.

No not Whitefiars.  It vaguely reminds me of Ruda, Sweden due to colour and texture, but I have not seen a shape like this from Ruda before, so probably is not.
