Venini bowl

Hi

I have this stunning piece of what I believe to be 70's venini glass. Does anyone have any idear as to the designer, etc. It is 12"(30cm) accross, a vivid blue, with remnants of the venini sticker from the early 70's, on the bottom it is signed(enscribed) Venini Italia.

Many Thanks

Patrick

Can you post a photo of the signature?

Thanks for the mail, I am unable to get a picture of the signature, it is quite clear but my camera is not quite up to it. Any idears as to the designer?

I have not been able to find anything similar. I am going on the label and the engraved signature(like handwriting). Easy to read but not so for my camera.
Any suggestions or information appreciated

If you take a picture at an angle with light reflecting from the signature area and from the closest distance you can do and keep it in focus, you should get something useable. Do not compress the image, if you cannot manipulate the picture yourself, mail it to me and I will enhance it for you.

There are a lot of fake signatures out there, one eBay seller used to specialise in this 'art'and produced hundred of such signatures. Generally people here can only tell if the signature is genuine from a picture.

Nothing anything at all like this item in the Venini catalogue raisonne, and if it is a genuine later engraved signature then it would be surprising not to have a date with it. Having collected Venini for a number of years now, this does not look right to me at all.
