Here is a shallow "ball" bowl with a variant pattern and definitely in uranium glass to add to the mix

The amber trinket set pattern appears to be an attempt to imitate this style of decoration by Josef Hoffmann called the Bronzit series for Lobmeyr

Stunning decorative Dressing Table Set and Ball/Bobble Bowl Angela! And gorgeous Ball/Bobble Bowl Christine. I feel all the pieces could be Stolzle Hermanova Hut, and we are getting very close to an ID.

I have opened a thread for the Ball/Bobble bowls with a bowl of my own, and some reasoning behind my theory, if you would both be so kind as to add your Bobble Bowl pics there it would be fab!

http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,53101.0.html

Add to this info Angela's 2 bowls with "Tortoiseshell" style patterning which appear to match exactly in the Tortoiseshell sense, and one of those bowls awaiting confirmation as being a Stolzle Hermanova Hut variant, as matched by Angela in Marcus's Sklo Catalogue/CD Rom, then we may well have an ID for the Dressing Table Set, if it is agreed that this particular Tortoiseshell was probably exclusive to one maker, which I suspect it was. :)

I didn't keep the pictures. They were just taken on my phone at an antiques fair
