Some photos of another enamelled amber set, this time showing the pin tray and lidded pot with enamelled decoration  (to complement the photos of the plain ones in replies #11 and 12).

(Permission for the re-use of these images on the GMB granted by frankieb1993).

Still waiting to find a trinket set in any colour other than amber.

Fred.

I just bought these to add to my collection, I think there are two small pots in the set I need to find . I will relist the tray and candlestick in case anyone wants them, as I have them already.  ;)

Reply #11 certainly shows that there are at least two sizes of lidded pot (at least in the plain amber set), but not the total number (or the combination of large + small if there are 3 lidded pots). I suppose that, working on averages for most multi-pot sets, that 1 large + 2 small would be a reasonable guess.

So, Angela, I will keep my eyes peeled for a couple of enamelled amber small lidded pots and email  you with details if I spot any.

Fred.

Just browsing the 1940 Josef Inwald catalogue and found the trinket pot from this set on page 44 pattern no 11757 but no tray or candlesticks, also listed is a perfume bottle and a perfume atomiser. They are plain not patterned.Maybe they would be in an earlier or later catalogue? Anyone got either ? :) I would scan the page and show you but don't think its allowed!

Mmmmmm lovely, Angela. Sorry I've not been taking much part in the board lately, I've been tied up in a big local project so have had very little free time to do much else. I've just been checking for Mod reports and not been replying. Hopefully later next week I'll be able to catch up here again. :)

Look forward to your comments Anne... The trinket dish now I have looked closely at it, doesn't have a star in the base like the one in the Josef Inwald catalogue....further to this discussion I have been watching this tray set on Ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Art-Deco-Amber-Pressed-Glass-Large-Tray-with-4-Removable-Dishes-/310722185031?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&nma=true&si=CjWb3v41kIAgbia0pcsZNNcK%252FFI%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

the dimensions of the tray are exactly the same as my trinket set tray . I have just found this set in the Hermanova Hut  before 1958 catalogue (Sklo CD) on page 18 also the vase on page 9 is the same pattern as the dish I have. So I am pretty convinced this is by Hermanova Hut.  :D
