2 candle holders?
« on: March 17, 2013, 07:45:38 PM »
hello my name is Maaike and I live in the Netherlands.
I have a question about these 2 green glass objects, I think candle holders?
But what I really want to know is from which country is this glass? And what's the name of the designer?
It's not signed and there's no sticker anymore, only some glue where the sticker has been

So, I really hope someone can help me to identify.

Thank you very much for reading my message.

Greetings from the Netherlands

Hello Maaike and welcome to the GMB.

Not sure I can help too much with their purpose, but could these be Scandinavian? Anyone else?

My first thoughts were that they look a bit Aseda-ish, but I know very little about Aseda - just the "bone" vases, and some other pieces with a sort of daisy-shaped, thick foot.
These have an interesting-shaped thick foot, and that's all I'm going on. :-[

Welcome to the gmb! :)

Hello David and Sue,

Thank you for looking at my message and the information. Maybe it's Scandinavian indeed, so I keep on looking for these candleholders/vases.

Thanks!
Maaike
