Monart mushroom lamp
« on: April 09, 2013, 04:23:49 PM »
After seven years collecting Monart I have finally managed to purchase a pre war Monart mushroom lamp. I bought it today at my local auction house Antique and Fine Arts sale. There was fierce bidding with two phone bidders and internet, it went for double the mid estimate. Money well spent in my opinion has a love the shape and colour scheme.

Picked up my lamp today and below are two images, one unlit and one lit. Once lit it takes on a different look in colour.
