perthshire paperweight, how old and what pattern??

i have what i think is a perthshire paperweight. was told its an early one? and need an idea of the pattern and how old???
3 inch diameter and 2 inches high

It's a "PP1" - made from the first day (1968). As I don't see a P cane (neither central cane, nor in the base) it will be pre-1978.

there's no p cane in the centre or elsewhere with anything.
