We're going to try and hang these two lamps up in my living room but the way my mother is going about it she'll break them before we hang them.

Any clues to manufacturer and age please?

I would have thought that they'd probably be English judging by how many of them there are on the UK market, but Italian or German could be a possibility. Age, probably early/mid 70s.

Um.... not sure. Italy/Germany, c.1950-60?

I didn't think it was anything special as the decoration is painted on.

No, that's where some of the White stuff is coming off.
