Its been a long wait but its here at last, newest purchase Monart vase, early orange lined, unusual colourway, shape N 10inches high without fitting, im sure someones just added the fitting though I know you get Monart lamp vases this one is not acid washed inside, but I think it looks stunning when lit, theres a few colours through the vase, including deep purples, blues, greens, red, browns, plum,black the whorls are well done, it really is a massive lump and is lined in orange,  unground base with early pontil, , you cannot see all these colours in the pictures but I will try to other pictures soon,

Of course, you are now stuck with the unenviable problem of finding a suitable lampshade for it!

Avoid red if you can't find an exact match. You'd be better with something which contrasts rather than clashes - and reds clash with each other.
One will make the other look orange, while the other will make the other one look blue.
Green does not clash with anything. (Just look in your garden to check!)

thanks for the tip Sue, I was gonna try and find a deep red/ plum,purple some thing along them lines, even a burnt orange , god I dunno know lol

                      im thinking of buying a parchment shade same kinda shape that they used in Libertys and getting artist friend to paint it to match,

yip agreed sue , ive seen a few that look pretty close to ones Libertys used, just have to suss the right size to suit
