Topic: Glass Vase Signature - ID = William Walker

Hi is anyone able to identify the signature on this vase the two little marks immediately to the left of the bright flash are part of the signature the mark to the right of the bright flash is a rub mark.  Any help identify this work would be greatly appreciated.  Regards Tim

this is one with his sig - it does vary in length though from piece to piece from what I've seen.
Please can you add your pictures to the board rather than hosting them externally, as they just disappear and then the information shared becomes useless - thanks

Mystery solved by m and Adam A. Well done folks. This must be a firm attribution. Do you have approximate glass making activity dates for W. Walker, Adam? Did you guys cross paths at some point on the contemporary English glass scene at some time in the last twenty years or more? In any event, I have noticed that your input on GMB is very useful and interesting. Especially concerning glass making in England, as well as European glass making techniques. Your knowledge is significant, as it is based on direct experience in the field, that continues expanding today. I hope you carry on finding time to drop in! Enthusiasts, historians and collectors appreciate it!

Sorry that I can't see your Photobucket images due to my security settings (our network does not like PB for some reason) but a search of the board for William Walker brings several results which include more signed examples plus comments from people who know of him or who worked with him, so well worth a browse through.

Many thanks one and all for the contributions submitted.  It dawned on me yesterday that what I thought were letters at the end of the surname is actually 98.  I found a Paperweight with nearly exactly the same "Garden" pattern which was attributed to him, although mine is a small vase.  Once again many thanks for the input.

You're welcome, but we'd very much appreciate if you could upload your pictures directly to the board please?
 Otherwise the pics get lost in the ether and then any help becomes irrelevant for future reference, which is what the board is also about.
I've come across 4 or 5 threads today where I've been unable to see the pictures, because the owners have uploaded them to photobucket or similar external hosting sites, so the information that people took the time to post is now useless.
