Hi Guys

Thank you for the recent help from members in identifying some of our items , we would like to extend to all GMB members the offer of international postage of our items ( this is not an all as standard ) but for those that appreciate a nice piece of glass we will quote for you and in some cases split parcels to make things cheaper. Just mention the GMB when getting in touch.

Our goodies can be found here
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Luv2collect-Emporium

Look forward to hearing from you
Ruth x

Hi Guys

Thank you for the recent help from members in identifying some of our items ,

Here is another piece of help for one of your listings just so the attribution can be corrected:

http://www.whitefriars.com/isit_contents.php?pageNum_Mistaken=11&totalRows_Mistaken=342&ID=1980
This is a very well established website with many well known and respected glass collectors and glass blowers looking at and helping to identify glass, (as indeed is this site), so I am sure if 96% of the members say this is BHF then it most likely is.

Forums Rules for those of you who think they dont apply to you :

If you wish to draw attention to an on-line auction which you consider to be ‘not as described’ you may provide a link to the auction but you should only state that “in my opinion this piece has not been described correctly.” Or, for example, in the case of a signature that you feel is incorrect “the signature does not appear to be genuine.”  It would also be advisable to ask if others have any opinion. Do not state anything is a fact, unless you can provide documentary proof!

Secondly : I have documentary proof / evidence from the British Heart Foundation that they have never sold this piece as new stock or imported it. Therefore the 96% of you blindly following a web post are wrong.

Thank you for your time.

All I would say to that, is that it is definitely not the case.Whoever you spoke to was mistaken.  I saw those vases in more than one of their shops at the time. There were also many discussions on www.whitefriars.com at the time, and quite a few of the members also saw them in their local branches. So it was not a figment of my imagination.  This was at least 6 - 7 years ago, maybe even longer, I can't recall the exact year they appeared.

And it is also not the case that the piece you are siting in your web link matches the one i am selling as i does not , it is different in size appearance and colour therefore is actually a different piece, this photo has been sent to BHF head office and they have confirmed that the piece i am selling is not something they have sold. I am not going to continue around a pointless loop forever these are the facts, not people remembering things they saw in shops 8 years ago , or unverified websites.

I will  not be dealing with this GMB thread again ( notifications off ) nor any message sent via ebay concerning this item and I am rather dissapointed at the archaic pack mentality being displayed.

Ruth, we would welcome sight of your documentary proof from the BHF as to their assertion that they never sold these, as many of us, me included, saw them on sale and handled them in the BHF shops when they were so offered for sale. They came in at least two colours - a paler one and the darker one like you show - and several sizes - three I think.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd
