Cased iridescent vase...any ideas?
« on: April 30, 2006, 12:58:53 PM »
Hi all,

I found this today and, liking Carnival glass of course, couldn't resist.

The base is polished flat.

  Click to enlarge
Any ideas? TIA    :D
If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.

Hi Peter,
I did read Glens article and from what I read, came to the conclusion that this vase probably isn't Carnival glass as it doesn't fit the criteria given. I haven't actually seen a piece of cased iridized glass, until today
Or am I way off base? .
