The Many Faces (bases) of Murano Figurines...
« on: June 17, 2013, 09:54:58 PM »
Just thought this would be an interesting piece of Reference to have on the board of both the FACES and the BASES.......of Murano Figurines.

Worth to be referenced here on GMB.....with a close-up pic. I note in some of mine there are eyes and noses (etc) and in others - there is not.  Also some bases are plain, with Gold, swirls in them or have a white edge around the base.

Just worth to keep a reference here (just like we do about labels) here on the GMB in one post, I think.  Will post the bases of mine later ....

If you have one, please add both a close-up of the face, and of the base.  Thanks

Thank you Sawi !!

Beautiful ones!  Can you also post a base shot of the base or leaves or swirls it has on it?  That is kinda different as I have not seen many with the white edges.  That is why it might be nice to add the faces and bases here of these.

thanks again!!

Pair of dancers, unsigned (of course).  Uncertain vintage, I'm assuming 1950s or 1960s.  Given how fragile they are, it's a miracle they survived all this time without damage.
