Hi Stew.

As for who made it - one of the various workers at Caithness at the time.  Who designed it - Colin Terris.  Value? We don't offfer values on GMB, but as a general rule, many Caithness paperweights sell for no more than 30% of issue price - which for this piece was £65.00.  It is worth noting that the Charlton catalogue prices are wildly optimistic for many designs.

thanks for the info alan i thought it might be colin terris
i don't usually ask for price as find on somedays weights can go for silly money then next to nothing
and noted maker and designer could be different people.
thanks for looking
