Hola!! Me presento:
me ofrecen .

Welcome!

You have already found several nice pieces of Czech glass! Anyone who likes glass is welcome. I am sure you will enjoy this forum. Putting one picture of each piece is best, one at a time, in separate posts, if you want identification. There is a place here for displays of glass here, http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,42591.0.html where you can put cabinet, shelves of glass pictures etc..

again, welcome,

Robert

It was in Prague that I discovered my passion for crystals. More Carlovy Vary  exactly where I was very impressed by a large exhibition of modern art in glass, that was in... 1989.  ???
Since then I have returned to Prague on 4 occasions, each time with a different woman
And every love I bought a piece of glass different: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th.
The Loves were broken, the glass still with me and with his memories
                             C´est la vie ¡!

Glad to see that Google translator recognises that this board is the glass "Parliament"!!

Hi fontanazul and welcome :)

I'm also passionate about (post war) Czech glass, and am happy when a new fellow collector joins the GMB.  Even with the language difference, I'm sure you will enjoy participating on the board.

Thank you all for the welcome.

I have quite a few pieces but many scattered around the house while my glass cabinet (for surgical material) remained small.

1    Some of (the less) I have identified: because they are signed, have
           label or are recognizable my.
Kosta / Vicke Lindstrand                 Flygsfors "Coquille" / Paul Kedelv
Val Saint Lambert          Mdina           Zemekv Frantisek             Murano .......
.... and a small bowl of Tomesti (Romania factory) something fishy glass that I have sympathy.

2       other pieces, I've been buying random here and there, in Lisbon, Málaga, Tangier, Seville ........ are an
                                            Enigma to me.

Over time I'll submit one by one the PARTS to for help me to identify them.

** as always have to fight with the translator hilarious.
                      Sorry.       Daniel

Kosta/Vicke Lindstrand            Flygsfors “Coquille”/ Paul Kedelv
Val Saint Lambert           Mdina         Murano     Frantisek Zemekv…….

Daniel

1   The next day 8, i gou to Praha  for a week.
Many years ago, 10 or 12, I went for the last time.
Again with my last love, again to buy a crystal.

2    To get away from the tourists (myself?) Have sought hotel in Visehrad,
a District: isolated, tranquil, magical and primordial (recommended).

I want to take a trip by train, one day, to visit a small town or village Glas:
                               NIZBOR / SVETLÁ / SKROLOVICE / PODEVRADY /
                                / ZELEKNY BROD / HARRACHOV / NOVI BOR /
/ MISTISOV / SHRISKA ...... (not Karlovi Vary - Moser that I already know)

                          Dare anyone recommend any destination?
(rather than the label of the glass, I am interested that the place is interesting and possible train trip .........)
                                             ANY IDEAS?

                                               Thanks                            (and I'll tell)

                               /  ZELEKNY BROD  /  HARRACHOV  /  NOVI BOR  /

                                                            ¿ALGUNA IDEA?

                                                                   Gracias              (y ya os contaré)

Hi. Some GMB Czech specialists are away this week. But I have some information:

The glass factory at Skrdlovice is closed. The village is still beautiful but I do not think that there is a train station. No glass to see really today.

At a guess, similarly, I doubt there is much to see at Mstisov.

Zeleny Brod sounds OK for a visit. There is a glass museum there open today. Worth visiting and train access may be good too.

I would guess that Podebrady still has some glassmaking.

Novy Bor is good, Karel Wunsch still runs a gallery there and there is a glass museum to see close by it.

There is a decorative arts museum in Prague that has the famous piece "night and day" engraved by Pravec on display, I am sure you may have already seen it! It was made by Lobmeyr in Kamenicky Senov. Kamenicky Senov also will have some glass interest to offer as a place to visit. Some online research may provide you with some information, hotels etc....

Good luck!

Robert

good luck,

Robert

  Thank you very much Robert:
Zelekni Brod seems could be a good destination and and visit pay tribute to my
   ashtray
                                           http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,53725.0.html

    Muchas gracias Robert:
