Initialled flower paperweight

Thought maybe Chinese at first then the initials led me away?
Any thoughts welcome.

Hi Chris

It looks very like a paperweight from the Belgium / Alsace region.  They sometimes included initials made of glass rod, and the frit ground is typical, as are the ice pick flowers.  The untidy base and glass colour suggest to me it is probably 100 years or so old.

Thanks Alan, I was going to add 'either Belgian or American' believe it or not just thought I would suggest Chinese before somebody else did :)
