Hi.  They were operating in 2007, and making some paperweights, as we called in there with other PCA members on a trip to the Sandwich glass museum. Alistair Ross had died not long before, and some of the paperweights he had made with Whitefriars canes were for sale (so we bought a couple...).  They appear to be still in business, according to their website.

Thanks a lot Alan,
I would like to attach a picture, to give an idea what it looks like ...
the facetting -shapes of pentagles and hexagons-is not very accurate and I have read that it is called "Grey facetting" when the edges of the facets are softened by the final polish
the COS scratch signature is also visible.
