GREAT vase but who made it? - ID = Craig Zweifel Art Glass
« on: September 14, 2013, 11:16:57 PM »
Bought this GREAT vase today at an antique shop in Asheville NC, though I do not think it is all that old but just had to have it.
Measures about 6 inches tall and almost 4 inches at its widest point.
Anybody recognize the signature/maker and or date.
Thanks for looking and any comments welcome. ;)

Looks like 1994 but there was a bit of a shake when taking the photo which means it's a bit blurred. Can you try again?

Sorry, :-[ but that is about the best picture of the inscription I could get. It was actually taken with a loop to magnify it.
Thanks for replying.

More concerned with maker than date...
Better pictures, hopefully...

Thanks for adding the new pics - I do wish I could make out the signature for you, it's so hard to figure what it says. :(  I've amended the topic subject line for you to try and catch the eyes of anyone with an interest in this area. Fingers crossed!
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Hi there.....take a smudge of white powder or ashes and rub the signature--- See if that will help to read it and post us some pics here.  Might help to bring it out more ??

Worth a shot!!   ;)
