Photos of possible Venini bowl

Finaly managed to get some other pictures of this bowl. Hope this will help with id of this one. I was looking to find out the designer. It is 12" accross and signed underneath and has the remnants of Venini sticker.

I may be totally wrong with this piece, but the signature looks wrong and the glass looks far too crude, allied with the facts that I can't find this in any of the Venini catalogues, I'm Sticking with my original prognosis that it's a duffer.

The label is right, but of course it could have been put there by a forger. I can't really tell about the signature from the photo.

On the other hand, I've never seen anything like this from Venini.

It appears to be molded rather than blown. The only thing I can think is that it might be one of the experimental molded pieces by Tony Zuccheri.

This can easily be resolved by the OP emailing photos to Venini for verification. With a piece this recent (1970s or 80s by the signature) it would be easy for them to tell if it's "right." They are great at getting back to people.

OP, please report back to us their response.

Thanks for the reply and info Laura. I tried to get in contact with them before but without a reply, I'll give it another go.
