cut glass vase

any help in identification plz 9ins high,23ins around the largest part of body,4 ins across opening ,31/2 ins across the base.ground and polished pontil .very heavy.pattern repeated front and back,etching also repeated ,i have looked for similar also various sites but to no avail.would be grateful for any help at all,many thanks all

Nice piece of Crystal Glass.  I am sure someone will be able to ID for you.  All I recognize ever is Pinwheel design......LOL   ;D  I do not have much clear glass here

I get the feeling that 'crystal' is one of those words used to describe just about any sort of clear glass..........it meant a lot to the Venetians, Bohemians and the creators of rock crystal wares, but in the C20 is it best confined to lead crystal only?

This piece might just possibly be Continental - insofar as it doesn't have traditional looking cut glass decoration - might be Czechoslovakian/Bohemian, but I'm really only guessing, sorry can't help.

I'm sure we've seen greyfella before, but if I've not said welcome to the GMB then................welcome to the GMB. :)

thank you for your reply.i have got absolutely nowhere looking for pattern or something similar so even your guess is better than i have done .the vase weighs 2.4 and some kilos i just thought it was a nice thing at a really cheap price along with some other clear glass .anyway i am rambling ,appreciate your time and will keep at it
