Hey Tony, great find!

Anne managed to find an eBay listing offering a 1929 advert advertising the introduction of the glassware, but this is much better :shock:

Can you tell me which magazine you found this in?

And can it be scanned larger? The reason is I'd like to be able to print this out full size at 300dpi. If it's no trouble I would be most grateful!

How big do you need scan, have just done one at 300dpi at 100% but it is 1.35MB how do I send it to you?

Sound recordings are generally protected for 50 years from the year of publication. Broadcasts are protected for 50 years and published editions are protected for 25 years.

This seems to suggest that published editions are eligible for protection for only 25 years, meaning anything preceding 1981 can be copied.

No. We severely restrict stickies and this is not universal enough. When we redo the rules we could make some mention of this.

Old Womens mags are probably a good source too. I'll have a look in the secondhand book place next time I'm passing to see if they have any.

Drew a bit of a blank, except I did find one book, seemingly from the '30s, about Phoenix oven-to-table glassware that looked awfully like Orlak! Sadly no adverts, but the 'frontispiece' has a few drawings.
