It's a bit of a US thing to assume that if it's gilded and perhaps enamelled its Webb; if it's just enamelled it's "Bristol" and if it's hot worked it's Stevens and Williams. All of which are frequently erroneous assumptions. The UK has it's own assumptions of course.
