Bagley frosted pink Wyndham trinket set?
« on: October 03, 2013, 06:33:58 PM »
Hi

Does anyone know if this set came in frosted pink?

Anne, I've been mooching about on your trinket set site and it doesn't mention pink? only clear, frosted green & frosted blue

If not Bagley, does anyone have ideas for a copy please?

Can upload pics if anyone is interested

cheers
Mel

I can't recall seeing a frosted pink set, Mel, so would be grateful to see the pictures.

Fred.

Mel, I've seen it in clear amber too, but not in pink as yet, though it could well do as many of the Bagley sets are found in pink and frosted pink, and the Wyndham vase certainly came in frosted pink. Could you add pics and sizes so we can compare please?
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

Hi Anne & Fred  :)

Sounds promising!

thanks for responding, I'll upload some pics shortly - I'm away from my pc at the moment

the shade of frosted pink is a dead match for a couple of Grantham vases I have. I'll try and do a pic will them in as well for comparison

Mel

Hi here are some pics - sorry for the delay, been away  :)

The good news is that under all the grime I've been clearing away, the pots and trays all have the reg no 790482 impressed in them and I'm hopeful of finding same on candlesticks.

The bad news is that it is very hard to get a good photo of the shade of pink - it looks somewhat peachy here but they are certainly the same pink as Grantham Vases

cheers,
Mel

They look good to me. You can be a bit harsh on frosted glass without damaging it - Cif and ceramic hob cleaner

thank you Christine - have not tried ceramic hob cleaner yet - so will give it a shot

I had just got some soda crystals and was going to try giving them a soak, whatever they have on them is awfully tough to remove - all black & spotty. Yuk!

Looks good to me too, Mel, thanks for adding the photos. :)  I find frosted glass is really hard to photograph as our camera doesn't like it!
