Made on the island of Murano in Venice, Italy probably in the 1950-1970 period.  I can't identify the factory.

Hi and many thanks.

Now the comedy.
Its got a signiture (Unreadable) and the words Vienna 1845 etched on the very polished flat base.
 ;D

Thanks for identifieing the make and date for me. Now all ive got to do is come up with a fair description for when i sell on Ebay.  ;)
