Who said Chance glass wasn't collectable?

Glad you spoke to your Mom

I've starting to log all the eBay sales of select vases (trying to monitor every single Cordon or Bandell would be a nightmare :o ). The only 7" Gingham that's sold in the last 30 days is a white one and this reached £28. However, I think they should do much better.

IF they still have their labels, then the price goes absolutely mad: a 4" yellow gingham with label got £26.56! But a 5" Cordon in orange with label (but looking like a 4"!) – the plain pinstripe – recently got £74.50

The size to always go for is 5" and I only have two myself. These are the scarce ones and should fetch a premium.

EDIT: The 8" ones are not very common either, but in all likelihood, your Mom's are 7" high (but pray for 5" :) )

Ah, but I didn't say anything about who to place the bet with - I understand Mr. Ladbroke was very interested...
