Felix ("Tutenkhamoon/ Creasus") Dennis is the magazine magnet, poet and wine lover btw!  he is planting a 20,000 hectare Forest to be known as "the Forest of Dennis" in a secret location and has completed over half of it I believe!
How do you hide and keep secret a 10,000h forest? Must be almost visible from the moon!!!!!!! :o
Yes, I have met him, and he is quite a character............and a non stop smoker!
Don't think he collects glass though! He suggested I design a Mausoleum with stained glass windows......! (For me, not him as he will be buried in his forest under a wooden pyramid tomb!)

It's very exciting cos I've got this HUGE Chance handkerchief vase sitting on the top of the cupboard, and I have just got to check the pattern and I hope it is worth A FORTUNE .... cos it was worth tuppence when I got it!

I just happened to mention it to a buyer who had come to collect some Whitefriars, and he bought it on the spot for a price that seemed to suit us both.  So a good result!

Naturally, I spent the next day wondering if I had undersold it, but hey!  Money in the bank!  got to be good to take the profit, eh??
Thank you very much!

There was a documentary recently on this forest and his plans looked most impressive. But I suppose he can be forgiven for being a smoker, if he's planting all that lovely wood :)

Edit: I believe it's in Oxford somewhere

Felix Dennis was being interviewed on our local Radio Cumbria recently about his poetry and read some of it out. He has a new book/CD out as well which I'm going looking for when next in town. He sounds like a wonderfully eccentric sort of chap.  ;D (He didn't mention the forest though.)
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

At a tangent (as usual  ::)) slightly, talk of secret forests reminded me of this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forest_swastika

Maybe Felix Dennis could have a pyramid shaped tree-art shape...  ;D

I am not a man

Thanks 'K' (it's "David" BTW!) 8)

This is the small Flemish texture and, as you say, isn't listed on my site - however, this really does not look like a 5" to me as the folds are too irregular - more like a 7" or 8" (I have already noted these sizes).

I've sent the seller a mail asking for clarification on the height.

I had a reply from the seller. The actual height is 6¾-inches, so it is a standard 'medium' handkerchief vase.

Wow, that was lucky - well done!

Quoted as being 5" high, but I suspect that's incorrect (as is the date of 1960!)
