3" diameter could be an early Perthshire or later Strathearn.

The shape of the canes says Perthshire to me.

Thanks for the confirmation Ronnie and thank you too Nick, why PP1 though I always thought 1 2 3 etc. were the sizes?

Sizes were

PP1 = "large"
PP2 = "medium"
PP3 = "miniature".

Where ... Large" = approx. 3 inch; Medium = approx. 2.5 inch & "Miniature" = less than 2 inch
