Bottle vases - ID required.
« on: November 18, 2013, 01:46:04 PM »
Can anyone shed any light on who these two pieces might be by.  Picked up recently in Copenhagen so I'm guessing Scandinavian?  Sadly no marks but has age.

Thanks

These may be Holmegaard Gulvases.  Measure them carefully the look on www dot hardernet full stop dk for the relevant sizes shown there.  The reason for the funny way of giving a website is to prevent search bots form finding the site easily.

It's OK to give links to websites; it's email addresses that should be disguised to prevent bots finding them

Gulvase's here: http://www.hardernet.dk/Artglass/Gulvvaser-Otto_Brauer_KG_FG_1959-1980.htm

These are not Gulvases, sorry no idea who made them.

After a little research it appears that these are attributed to Oiva Toikka for Nuutajarvi,. Thanks for all those that contributed.
