Hi I am new to this board and I recently purchased a neat looking glass paperweight that is in a sphere shape with a orange spiral/swirl from top to bottom and with several bubbles in the middle as well. The paperweight has a symbol imprinted on the bottom that looks like a shield with a capital "G" in the middle and with what appears to be the head of a bird sticking out from the top with its wings spread open on each side of the shield. There is no image of any talons from the bird just the head and wings. I am currently unable to get the image to upload, but will have it up as soon as I can. In the meantime I was hoping someone may have an idea of the maker. I greatly appreciate your help. thanks!

John Gentile. Stamp was used in late 70's. I believe there may be reference on this board that indicates this is a 1978 stamp. I don't know if it dates to only 78 or not.

Thank you so much for your assistance I will look into that reference as well and do further research into whether or not it dates it as 78 only or not and I will still try and post a picture of it on here when I get it to work.
