Vase - old or new?
« on: December 17, 2013, 03:08:57 PM »
Here is a vase with nice balance and textures, slightly iridescent - I wondered if it was an older piece or new Chinese - I really don't know as its not my usual purchase, it was very cheap!

Thanks

hi Adam                  If that matt finish to the underside of the foot is due to grinding/smoothing, then possibly Chinese  -  I say this as believe finishes like that are typical of some Far Eastern products.
