Well, I was thinking it *MIGHT BE* a NEGCo, but I was also suspicious of an older St. Louis. I did some homework after the consensus here on NEGCo and I'm now 100% certain you guys nailed that one perfectly! Thanks.

As for the picture, my *other* hobby is studio photographing those weights with semi-pro grade equipment and processing. Here is what the SAME picture looks like without those highly restrictive size limitations imposed here on the Glass Board {120kb}

Lovely paperweight, lovely images. Actually your images reduced to below 120kb are really outstanding. I expect the restriction is there because of bandwith limitations. There must be thousands of images on the Glass Board.

Pinterest just raised $225m http://www.theguardian.com/media-network/media-network-blog/2013/oct/29/pinterest-pins-hopes-monetisation so I expect they can afford a wider bandwidth than is available on GMB. You may not be aware that GMB is a free service, provided by, and paid for by Angela Bowey, who is a glass collector just like yourself and many other members. I think we are all indebted to her for providing this free service.

Happy Christmas and Happy Collecting. From your pinterest page it looks like you have a super collection.

TanToday, I'm sure then you would be aware that anyone using half-way decent imaging software can create images that are large enough to be seen well and which fit our size limits.  Please remember another important reason for those limits: although many of us do have fast broadband connections there are still some areas with slow connections and big images are a problem for them. Also large images on mobile devices use more bandwidth which can be expensive for the user, so a great deal of thought went into setting realistic limits for the board to provide a service which was achievable and reasonable for everyone, including the person who provides the service at no cost to you.

PS Welcome to the board. :)
