ID help please - Lauscha? 1930's ish?
Pip:
I got this ages ago and have been wondering who to attribute it to - it sort of looks a little like a Lauscha vase I saw in a book because of the handpainted diagonal lines but this isn't my era so I've no idea really... any help would be appreciated. Cheers m'dears...

Ivo:
Lauscha glassmakers specialise in miniatures and christmas ornaments - you forget to mention what size the item is.

I've got one almost the same, just a slightly different shape. Is the glass very thin ? And the green lines very shiney ? Mine's about 8"

Yes I know - and marbles! - but I've got a glass book with a yellow Lauscha attributed vase in, it's abit more ornate but the painted lines look the same. It's at the back of a cabinet so without getting it out (sorry I'm having a clumsy day today) I'd say it was about 7 inches tall.

Yes, that's sounds the same! The glass is very light and thin - it's very delicate - and the lines look as if they are a type of enamel paint. Do you know anything about yours GlassDarkLee?
