ID help please - Lauscha? 1930's ish?

I have looked carefully at mine and I don't think I would call it painted.
It looks like very thin strips of green glass has been fused on top of the piece.
What would that be called ? Enamelling ? Stringing ? Threading ?
It's done very accurately.

could be a vitreous (glass based) enamel applied cold then fired on.

Frank:
Acid test for paint is to scrape with a knife. Enamel won't be affected.
