Victorian vase ale glass? help please
« on: January 31, 2014, 03:55:27 PM »
Hello there can anyone help me with an id and rough date for this piece of glass, at first i thought it was a vase but it has no water staining, it has a hollow stem and the base of a pint glass and holds a pint, but i have never seen a pub glass this shape, it has a lovely ring to it, no seeds within the glass, a very worn base with a polished pontil. It's 7 1/4 inches in height 3 1/4 inches across the rim and 3 1/2 inches across the base.
