Reich & Co. 8789 lidded pot as in the ca.1934 musterbuch.
« on: February 03, 2014, 08:03:50 PM »
Thanks to Pamela showing the S. Reich & Co. ca.1934 musterbuch online, I can now identify a peachy-pink frosted glass lidded pot on file as Reich 8789, illustrated on page 74:
http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Reich-ca-1934.375+B6YmFja1BJRD0zNzUmcHJvZHVjdElEPTE0OTYwJnBpZF9wcm9kdWN0PTM3NSZkZXRhaWw9.0.html

(Permission for the re-use of these images on the GMB granted by kew52**).

The peachy-pink frosted pot has a body and lid decorated with embossed floral swags, and the lid finial is in the form of globular flower (I think probably meant to be stylised roses).

Does anyone have photos of other 87XX pieces from page 74 of the musterbuch to show, please?

Fred.

GMB-member Cheri of almasattic contributed this oval lidded dish in typical Reich uranium amber to my Pavillon pages:

Die Erfahrung lehrt, dass, wer auf irgendeinem Gebiet zu sammeln anfängt, eine Wandlung in seiner Seele anheben spürt. Er wird ein freudiger Mensch, den eine tiefere Teilnahme erfüllt, und ein offeneres Verständnis für die Dinge dieser Welt bewegt seine Seele.
Experience teaches that anyone who begins to collect in any field can feel a change in his soul. He becomes a joyful man filled with a deeper empathy, and a more open understanding moves his soul.
