Hand blown glass bottle ID
« on: May 29, 2017, 03:16:08 PM »
Hey all,

this is my first post - hopefully somebody can help...
I found this beautiful vase on a flea market in Cologne / Germany. It consists of bright orange glass with small bubbles and gold glitter. It is quite big, the height is ca. 28 cm. Unfortunately there is no label, signature, or mark.
Any help identifying this piece is highly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Welcome!  :)
(and apologies for nobody having said this already.  :-[)
Thank-you taking the time and trouble for posting good images which blow up nicely.

I'm afraid I don't know what your bottle is, the only thoughtIi had was that the applied ring of clear glass on top, and the general sort of construction reminded me a little of a small moulded and marvered Holmegaard bottle I found recently, but the size and non-moulding doesn't fit too well.

I'm sure somebody might have more ideas than I do, please, just have a little patience until the right person comes along and sees it.
We're all just volunteering what we know, but not everybody comes here every day. :)
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

Apologies for my mistakes in english. I missed a word out and didn't correct a muddle of letters.  :-[
That can't have been much help! :)
