IMPERIAL LENOX MEADOW GREEN CARNIVAL GLASS DONKEY
« on: April 30, 2006, 02:48:37 AM »
I need some help with identifying and pricing my new addition. It is the Jack Donkey and is marked with the LIG and is meadow green carnival glass. It also has a number etched on it - amd  it is not on the bust. The only one I see in my books is the one still attached to the bust - and I can not find any info on this one - or what the number signifies. I would appreciate any help ~ thanks ~ Kim

I am assuming you are talking about the donkey made by Imperial from the Heisey mold. This was done in green carnival in 1980. As to the number etched, that I have no clue about. Terry

Wanted to let everyone know that I have identified the Donkey. We were lucky to find an old Heisey by Imperial Club book over the weekend at an antique mall.

It says it was made in 1980 as a Limited Edition of 750 - and all were numbered - that is why the 222 on it ~ and marked LIG. In 1980 they were valued at $150.00- I have decided not to add it to my overflowing collection and have posted it on Ebay so some lucky collector of Imperil or Heisey figurines can have a chance at it. Thanks to everyone who took time to look and respond!
