But it will not be the Fenton shareholders, who will applaud this action. Fenton's profitability keeps its US glasshouse alive too!

Of course there will be losers, the smaller companies that specialise is in design and marketting glass for florists will certainly not be benefitting.

Fenton only has one glasshouse. That is the factory in Williamstown, West Virginia which celebrated its centenary last year. Fenton is very much a family run concern.

That would describe them perfectly, Frank. Williamstown is very much the home of Fenton - collectors come from all over the US - indeed the world - to tour the factory. They are close to my heart in many ways.
