french glass ??????

I`ve have 5 thistle shape glasses that are 31/2 inches  tall i believe they are french and are approx 50 years old .they have a serial number on them which is 826049 i wonder if anyone as any information on these ???

Is the number al that there is, no RD or something else. Mould number is possible. Can you post a picture as it is a widely used shape. Go here http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/index.php and click on 'Upload file' it then allows you to select the file on your PC which must be smaller than 200k
