Egg shaped cut glass pot help please.
« on: February 14, 2014, 10:21:34 AM »
This is the second piece of glass i'm trying to fit into a timeline to help me better date glass, i'm thinking this one is 1900's i don't know why, however it could be any age, the cutting is amazing on the top as it increases in size as it goes down towards the rim of the lid, there is not much age wear to the base, i'm not even sure what this bit of glass was for, any help welcome regards Chris.

It's 5 3/4 inches in height and 2 inches across the base.
