"The monster sausage"
Here's a definitely rationalist design.
we seem devoid of all reason.
Because of its enormous weight and tough iconicity reminiscent of a endangered animal we feel the love.

Has anybody seen it? Some know him?

       thanks

                The controversial Vase

  * (This story is completely fictional)   .... but it could be true.  ;)

1982 preliminaries to the national design competition in Czech Socialist Republic.

A -  Rudolf  Jurnikl tries to convince his young colleague and ideological
Vaclav Zajic to defend your project (its huge vase "BBQ")

  B. - Finally is Vratislav Sotola  your friend, boss design committee for the National Glass Industry, who will defend his project (apparently doubtful mood).

C - Meeting the court (with invited members of Comecon) made the ruling.

The title sounds like a 60ies B-movie trying to be a horror!  :D
