Old or modern Luxardo green glass bottle help please.
« on: February 20, 2014, 06:10:07 PM »
Hello there, here is a bottle i would like to know some info on please, it came to me with several Victorian bottles with REG 1893 on the base, this one looks mould blown it has two marks down the side and the base has blown outwards. The bottle can just about stand up on it's own, and the neck has bent to one side, there are bubbles in the glass, some wear to the outer surface but nothing on the base. It has a stamp near the neck that's hard to read it looks like Luxardo across the top, 1824 in the middle and zara across the bottom of the stamp.

I know that Luxardo is still made but does this bottle have any age? it's 10 inches in height. regards Chris.
