I have two more specimens I would like help on. The large vase stands 28cms in height, is very heavy, has a smooth polished base, no names etc, the bottom portion of the vase is lumpy. The colour is blue and mauve and  possibly contains alexandrite. The small, vase is 20cms in height, polished base, and is also blue and mauve. I assumed them to be Zelezny Brad SkloI ?  The small one maybe Caithness but thought the base was not right. I have scoured my usual references including the new ones directed to by GMB contributors without luck. Any ideas. Thanks

I would say definately ZBS for the big one -- I have one with a label in the same colourway >> http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,38693.0.html
(The pink coloured layer in mine is not Neodymium btw)

The smaller could be one of those Murano teardrop shape vases; these are unfortunately very difficult to attribute to a maker...

If it were found in Australia I would be fairly certain that the larger is by Rikaro (Czech).   I agree with Michael the smaller looks like a MUIrano maker.
