Being "modern" is not arbitrary, it is not a choice. It is a fatality, a destiny.
Antonín Drobník knew how to fulfill it.

Ser “moderno” no es arbitrario, no es una elección. Es una fatalidad, un destino.
Antonín Drobník supo cumplirlo.

Another ZBS.
Zemek gets in this model a perfect balance:
Classic-modern / geometry-informal / dynamism-stillness.
* Curiosity: I found and bought mine in Tangier-Morocco, a few years ago.(neodymium)

Otro ZBS.
Zemek consigue en este modelo un equilibrio perfecto:
clásico-moderno / geometría-informal / dinamismo-quietud.
*curiosidad: yo encontré y compré el mío en Tanger-Marruecos, hace algunos años.(neodimio)

In the early 1950's; The engineer Miloš Pulpitel into Harrachov introduced a new technique that incorporated a glass textile.
Rudolf Schwedler and especially Milan Metelák would develop this technique in numerous models under the "Harrtil" patent.

This design is so evident that it seems ancestral; As if we had always expected it.
Schrötter created one in 1947. Brabec another very similar years later.

In 1957 a young man (24 years) Lubomir Blecha as a student of Professor J. Kaplicky,
creates designs in Skrdlovice for the Trienale in Milan and Expo Brussels-58.
In Brussels a large exhibition of African art was inspired by his series: Africanicae & Negroicae (1960) Skrdlovice.

I have always liked the big glasses
and I have sympathized with the moral and intellectual universe of those who use them.

Siempre me han gustado las gafas grandes
