ID help! Bought as Stueben-Not?
« on: March 08, 2014, 01:05:21 AM »
This green, translucent vase was bought as a Steuben. I have heard that the earlier pieces were not signed on the bottom. This one is not. I doubt that it is authentic, but it's very nice. Any ideas?

hello and welcome to the GMB :)

Your photo doesn't enlarge enough to see the vase, so could you resize the pixel length to 600 x 400 and a maximum of 125kb and then it will enlarge once clicked on.
We would also need a very clear photograph of the base please.
Many thanks
m

Here's some better photos, re-sized to closer to 125KB. Thanks!

I do not know but it is really gorgeous :)
Have you tried searching the carder steuben site to see if you can find a shape match?

Thanks for the tip! I checked some site as to shape, a while back, but maybe not that one. I'll give it a shot. Can't sell it until I know what it is!
