Tall Mushroom Shaped Vase
« on: April 20, 2014, 11:48:08 AM »
Picked this up at the usual Sunday car boot today, thought it was very unusual and quite striking. No idea who made it though. Help appreciated as always. Measures 26cm in height by 19cm diameter across the rim.

Thanks

Roy

Bump. Could this be Blenko? Unusual with a polished pontil mark I know.

I usually seem to see these with a blue trail rather than yellow, different sizes out there too. No idea who though.

looks like the same design, found others on some antique sites with red trails listed as Edwardian. Older than I thought perhaps.

Although I have to say I would have thought more modern, mid 20th century.
