kralic rim question?
« on: May 04, 2014, 02:05:28 PM »
Hi all,i'm sure this 8.5 cm high little vase is kralik rigaree and i would just like to ask about the rim,it's flat with a hint of a bevel on the outside and cuts through the textured surface leaving the rim rough to the touch,is that normal, thanks.

Ummm, really not sure about this piece now,i'm not at my sharpest at six in the morning and it's certainly thinner on one side of the rim than the other, there is also a noticeable slope looking from one angle,it would be great if someone says that's normal but i'm not expecting it! ::) ::)

I've a couple of pieces that are a bit irregular round the rim one slanting slightly so it's probably 'normal' whatever that is ! ::) ;D ;D

Thanks keith that's reassuring,it has a very nice subtle iridescence that i've managed not to capture, that is normal ::)
