Deco lidded trinket pot

See four images, each with click main image to enlarge feature, via http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-19879

This is a high quality deco lidded pot, h. 7cm, l. 10.5cm, w. 361g.   Probably from a central European trinket set.

The only blown surfaces I can be sure of are the insides of the pot and lid.   Not that the sides are different versions of the same decorative design.

Any additional information would be most welcome.

Thanks for your interest,

Hi Bernard, these designs always remind me of Karl Palda, may be worth checking if you haven't already.  :)

Greg may well be correct  -  the Truitt's book 'Collectible Bohemian Glass 1880 - 1940' - shows many examples of glass, from a variety of ranges from this factory, with these black geometric deco designs.

Bernard do you have access to a copy of Schránky vůní  - the world of toilet glass (published by the Museum of Glass and Costume Jewellery, Jablonec nad Nisou)? It gives a list of around a dozen companies which produced this style of design. If you don't have access I'll copy the details for you.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd
